- Each voter chooses one candidate by putting a cross next to their name.
- The votes in the constituency are counted and the person who accrued the most votes wins the seat.
- The government is formed by the party that has the most seats or if there is no clear majority it is formed by the coalition of parties that have the most seats. If a coalition cannot be formed a new election takes place.
